Steak 'n Shake

When thru the drive thru earlier this week for the first time, service was a little slow. So I didn't expect much with the burger from any other fast food chain. The burger was excellent. The meat had flavor, cheese was real and melted nicely, lettuce was the good dark green leafy kind, pickles were tasty and fresh, not tuff, old and cheap like some places. And no smashed buns. I was pleasantly surprised. I read the writing on the bag. Meat is made with Prime Rib and T bone. No wonder why the burger was so good. I immediately looked up other locations, not many. I went buy tonight on my way home and got a double cheeseburger. The prices are reasonable. Service is a little slow but worth the wait! I wish they would open one up near Anaheim where I live. They would do well. A must try, you won't be disappointed!

Oh this is a rave review on the employee at the window. My two daughters were supposed to share a mint shake and I forgot to ask for sprinkles. When we got the shake and he passed it to my daughter through her window (after asking if it was alright when he heard her when we were ordering she is 5) making her very happy. As he passed us our food he overheard her telling me I forgot to ask for sprinkles he made a mini one with extra sprinkles to share with her 3 year younger sister. Which meant the girls didn't have to take turns sharing with each other (but they did have to share with Mommy and Daddy so they would still eat their food).

The best thing about this place is they fix your food and you can see them doing it. The food is worth the money. The place is great to dine in. Very clean while listening to pleasant music.

Fries are amazing and the milkshakes are just as good. Will definitely be going back. The place is also super clean. You can eat off the floor.
