The food was AMAZING the staff was AMAZING!!!! A MUST GO TO soul food restaurant whenever in Compton, CA.

This is a very different restaurant. They will tell you your food will come out as it is ready, which means not everything comes out at the same time, just sit back and enjoy! Dishes are meant to share and we found them more then enough for the two of us.
A must try is the seaweed and tufu beignet,yes it doesn't sound inviting but you will be sorry if you don't get this. Four good size beignets with a sauce that is so good you could drink it.
The service was excellent, very helpful with ordering and the drinks and wine where so good. The restaurant is not big but is nicely done. I would suggest you make a reservation especially on busy weekends.

Love this place. The catfish is legendary in town as the best anywhere. Friendly folks and nice ambience with cool music. You can taste the love in every item they prepare from scratch.

First time there and everything was great. The service was good, the place was clean, and the food was delicious. Only thing was I ate too much and didn't want to move afterward.
