The best Ethiopian food in LA county. Every dish is perfectly prepared and seasoned, every time. They give you massive portions, and the food is always fresh. I’ve never had a better vegetarian platter in SoCal!
Definitely worth it to go! Easier to go to and get to then driving all the way to Little Ethiopia in downtown LA. The food was incredible and a great price. I split a dish and a couple additions with 6 people and it was very cheap and reasonable once split. They have all sorts of Ethiopian food and beverages available and the coffee ceremony is there. They had Ethiopian music in the background. Absolutely recommend going. The food is incredible and a great price.
I'm SO glad I stumbled upon this place. I've been driving out to Little Ethiopia to get my fix but now I have a place much closer to home. I can confidently say that the food here is better than the food you'll find out in Little Ethiopia. The family that owns the place is wonderful. The mom cooks all the food in the back while the daughter and dad run the front of house. It's so good that I go anytime I'm visiting home from Dallas!
I generally drive to Little Ethiopia on Fairfax to get my monthly fix of Ethiopian food. This location is a little bit closer to my home so I decided to try it. The food is really good and I have been back twice. The portions are good and are compatible to the price. The owners are super friendly and on my second visit I was treated to a round of Ethiopian coffee which was really nice of them. I definitely will be stopping by again. I highly recommend this restaurant
In this case "GS" stands for "good stuff"! We've been to Ethiopian restaurants all throughout Southern California including San Diego and Los Angeles, and this restaurant is on par with the best of them! The interior was clean and cultural and our waitress was very kind. We ordered the beef and vegetable platter, which was enough to feed our two hungry, growing boys and their parents. The platter included meat which was tender and delicious, and a variety of vegetables which were very tasty. We were also ordered their special coffee and were treated to a coffee ceremony that included the burning of frankincense, as per traditional Ethiopian custom. The prices here are great, even compared with other Ethiopian restaurants in the area! There's also a cute little gift shop. The only complaint is that this place is a little bit hard to find. It is located right next to a Subway, but we almost missed it. Definitely coming back here again!
