Porto's Bakery and Cafe

Portos is a staple in Southern CA and a must if you happen to find yourself near one.
The croquettes are delicious and addictive, I recommend you grab a couple. I have had a couple sandwiches here and they are delicious. The best part in my opinion are their cakes. If you are looking for a tasty quality made cake for a special occasion than look no further. I have had most of them and have yet to be disappointed. My all time favorites are the carrot cake and a chocolate mousse type cake that melts in your mouth! It is always busy so be prepared to wait a bit in line, but it is worth the wait.

So good! I had a delicious breakfast plate with eggs, fried potatoes, and a light greens mix. I also added a cheese ball and potato ball. It was reasonably priced as well. They can get extremely busy but all of their pastries are worth the wait. Highly recommend.

If you are ever in Downy, then come here! This place is awesome! And this particular Portos building is very modern, so the ambiance is terrific! The lines are long, but that is because their food is terrific and worth the wait! The chicken tamales are the best I have ever had!

Absolutely a must have. The bakery has so many delicious goodies. The Potato Balls are a must order!! The Empanadas are flaky and taste delicious. We also ordered cupcakes, carrot cake and apple turnovers all were amazing. If you're in the area I recommend stopping by Porto's Bakery.

This is one of my favorite bakeries. The potato balls with beef inside are yummy ????????????. The spinach croissant is delicious too. All my family members and I buy our birthday cakes from here. 3 leches cake is just a too damn delicious.
