Nelly's Mexican Food

I live down the street from this place and I forgot it was there this whole time the Food is delicious family owned so they make you feel at home The lady that took my order was very polite reminded me of my grandmother ... I would most definitely be visiting this place again

1st visit at Nelly's was a pleasant one. The ladies working were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The prices were very good as well. The dining room is definitely on the smaller side but it was very clean and well maintained.

We ordered a bistek ranchero, which my mother in law liked. My father in law went with a burrito de lengua and he liked it. My wife went with a quesadilla de asada, it lacked flavor. I went with a Plato de sopez, 1 asada and 1 carnitas with rice and beans. The sopes were so loaded that when I tried to bite it, it all fell off. The asada again lacked flavor, but the carnitas was delicious. The masa was a bit hard however, and I didn't think much about the beans either.

The lady who took our order at the counter was very attentive, came around several times to see if we needed anything. The complimentary chips n salsa were delicious. I can honestly say that I wouldn't hesitate to come again based on the service and chips n salsa.

Awesome family-owned restaurant! The portions are nice and big and the family that owns the restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. You can tell that a majority of the patrons are regulars and have been eating there for awhile as they were even greeted by name.

Food was great, very tasty and we were able to take some home! Will definitely be back in the near future.

The food was good and it looked good too. Nothing too special for me though. Gotta give this place another chance and get something more traditional.
