Downey Pizza Company

I lived in Downey since 1980. I used to go to Downey Pizza Company when they were on Paramount and Stewart and Gray. After they moved to the current location I didn't frequent there as much. But over the last couple of years I realize that they have the best pastrami Pizza. And or all of their pizzas are good. You can tell that they make their own dough. I highly recommend going and trying anything on the menu. They have great lunch specials. They even have a bar where they have great happy hour food and drink items

Their pastrami pizza is great, and their potato wedges taste good. Pretty much any pizza you order, is good.
My family and I love coming here. Can't wait to go back.

Visited during lunch time few times and even had the pastrami pizza. Good amount of meat on pastrami pizza but mustard and the overall flavor just did not work for me as a pizza. Good pizza but there are similar local pizza places in the neighborhood to choose from.

Was working nearby and one of my colleagues recommended I try the best pizza place in Downey. It definitely lived up to its reputation as this was my first time try the famous pastrami pizza. We ordered a medium sized but looking back we should have ordered a larger to have more to enjoy. Will make it a definite destination when in the area.

This is a town's favorite. My family and I fell in love with this place. It's a Little dated but what it lack in decorum it replaces with good food. My favorite pizza is the pastrami and the Mediterranean. Either one you won't be disappointed.
