Tocaya Organica - The Point

Great place that doesn't use oil but they use vegan butter. I was able to get a bowl with their Spanish/Mexican cauliflower rice with one of the shredded chickens (it wasn't too spicy). Just those two alone were great! 4 stars is because I ordered the food a la carte as I only wanted the cauliflower rice and chicken, and they charged me for a bowl (where I didn't get everything in the bowl) and the thing came to $17! Kinda pricey but it's good if that's what you want and don't mind spending the $.

Where's the beef. I paid almost $4.00 more for a carne asada burrito and could hardly find any beef. When you pay 15 bucks for a burrito, you expect something special. My burrito was ordinary and on par with a $2 burrito feom Taco Bell. That said, our server was extremely friendly.

Brand new in the collection of this ever-expanding chain of casual Mexican food with a flair for plant-based proteins and dishes, this restaurant gives more options and combinations for those with varied food needs to get something great. Every bowl, burrito and dish allows you to add proteins from chicken to their delicious vegan picadillo, and regular cheese to vegan cheese. The decor is pleasing and modern, the vibe is energetic and fun, the staff is young and happy. I love Tocaya Organica!

The only star missing is due to the restaurants ability to serve its customers has slowed down significantly since its opened. Other than the speed, this restaurant always delivers “modern Mexican” food at fairly good prices. Very nice place for a lunch on a sunny day with seating outside too.
