(February 9, 2019, 9:01 am)I loved my experience here!! It felt like a long-standing, family owned, locals’ favorite restaurant. The servers were attentive and kind as well!
We ordered chicken teriyaki bento and salmon teriyaki bento????. They both came out with various food with lots of veggies — broccoli salad, somen salad, a piece of orange, macaroni salad, teriyaki salmon/chicken, and rice. The broccoli salad seemed over-dressed, but other than that, everything else was just on-point!!! The salmon teriyaki had crispy exterior and moist and tender interior. The teriyaki sauce was also delicious and well-blended with the salmon. Somen salad was nicely seasoned and I liked the pumpkin seeds in the broccoli salad.
They also gave a warmed up bread with butter as an appetizer, and oh my God.. The bread was irresistibly fluffy and moist, and smelled and tasted fresh, and the butter was also VERY good!! We killed the whole thing instantly and got kind of too full for the main dishes ????
Anyhow, I’m going back there and I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s down for an authentic local experience with a selection of Hawaiian and American foods! -

A 40th Class Reunion for our graduating class of #GardenaHigh #classof78 #mightymohicans #gtownmightymohicans #gtownhomies was held here, everyone at Cherrystones was wonderful, looked after us all wonderfully the food is Onolishous! Reminded me of home and the good ole days! Mahalo for the wonderful evening, and the new lifetime memories, ????????????????
