Mar's Caribbean Gardens Belizean Restaurant

Went there for lunch. Oxtail was good as well as the beef stew. Decent sized food portions. Food came out at a quick pace. The hostess was real nice and friendly. I asked for mac and cheese but it's not a menu item. Regardless, great place to go with a Caribbean vibe. Wish they played more west Indian music to set the mood.

Update: Perhaps the chef changed? My last visit my rice was undercooked and the flavor of the oxtail was different in a bad way. I was looking forward to their consistently delicious meal but was very disappointed. I lost $30 worth of food.

Always scrumptious! Best Caribbean food in the area hands down. Food tastes fresh and homemade. Curry chicken and oxtail are my personal favorite. They do NOT taste like they've been sitting all day or that you've been given the bottom of the pot with mainly bones. The $1 tacos on happy hour Fridays are delicious. Stick to the margaritas instead of the other mixed drinks according to my friend who ordered a "panty ripper" and a strawberry margarita. The owners are welcoming and service is good.

Wow, this place was amazing. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and the music made you feel like you were actually on Beliz The service was outstanding. The whole staff was kind and helpful. We had never had Caribbean food before and our waitress gave great suggestions. Everything about this place was completely enjoyable. I would definitely come back, and recommend it to anyone looking for something different and delicious.

The food is good, and everyone there is nice, but the service is really slow. Took a while to be seated, a while for r the server to get to us, a while to get the check. People who had made online orders, they'd come in, only to not have their food ready, and would have to wait a long time.

If you're coming here with a friend or family, and you're catching up, and not pressed for time, I'd recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a sit down restaurant with quick service, I would hold off on coming here until you have a bit more time or patience to spare.
