    Cash only, but probably the best old school sushi you can find in LA.

    This place has been around since I was a teenager. They make about 10 different varieties so not a regular sushi place, take out only and cash only. The sushi that they do make is very very good.

    A simple business never goes wrong. The historical to-go only sushi place provides a good value to the community for a long time!

    For JA's this place is a throwback to the 1950s picnics in Elysian Park. The sushi is limited to 2 types of boxed style sushi, 2 kinds of cut rolls and inari similar to Wakayama flavors, plus a California roll. The rice is slightly soft. Don't expect any fancy stuff or raw seafood.

    Cash only.

    Nice, very helpful, friendly place. Very affordable too.
    I get my 92 year old MOM, Sushi from there all the time.
