(February 28, 2019, 1:37 am)Great place to eat Japanese food. Very nice staff. Low key but very good food. Try to visit. You will not get disappointed. Limited parking at the back but street parking is available. Drove 10 miles from LAX just to experience their food. No regrets.

(December 16, 2018, 3:33 pm)Wow!!! So authentic. I go here every time I'm in LA. I work for a Japanese company and spend a lot of time in Tokyo. Otafuku is the real deal and just like the izakayas in Tokyo. If you want authentic then go to Otafuku. This place is great.

(October 31, 2018, 3:12 am)Great place, unfortunately we ordered the wrong things (didn't realize what we ordered were all tempura - we didn't read the menu carefully / know Japanese).
Hopefully we order better next time! -

(October 18, 2018, 10:06 pm)Several types of house made soba noodles to choose from, all very good chewiness. Veggie tempura was excellently done - light crisp, not too oily, good variety, and flavorful dipping sauce.
