This is one of the best restaurants! We drive from Ventura for the food and more importantly, the German Chocolate Cake! Best outside of Germany!

This is a favorite spot of some of my friends and I'm so glad I got to try it. It's part of this cute little town of Montrose, which has a vintage feel to it. All these mom and pop shops, including an old fashioned candy store, bookstore and toy store.

The restaurant was nice inside and service was excellent. I got the Cow Benedict while my friends ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, Corn Flake Crusted French Toast and the Corned Beef Skillet. My Cow Benedict had its Hollandaise sauce made with orange juice, which I had never experienced before and it was so beyond good. I was so happy with my dish.

I tried my girlfriend's Corn Flake Crusted French Toast as well as her Corned Beef Skillet. French toast was great but more on the dessert side than breakfast as it was really sweet. But that Corned Beef was awful. It was way too salty and she ended up just taking it home because she couldn't finish it.

Great experience overall. I am excited to bring my husband here to try the Cow Benedict.

Wait was short, even though they were extremely busy. Food was excellent! Reasonable prices. Bow Benedict was wonderful, perfectly runny eggs, fruit was ripe, potato's were seasoned well, didn't need to add salt/pepper. Chocolate chip waffle was also very good, home made whipped cream, not too sweet. Highly recommend this place!

Love this place. Super friendly staff & a menu that is smallish but fairly creative & everything is very tasty. Very much recommended.
