    Best Filipino food for the price in Los Angeles! I can vouch for the kare kare, the crispy pasta, and the garlic rice. I used to love the sizzling tofu, but the sauce is no longer what it used to be.

    The best Filipino restaurant,that's for sure! Highly recommended. I love everything,here...from their appetizer to their dessert. I never leave this place hungry or unsatisfied.

    It's way too pricey for mediocre Filipino food. If your establishment Max's of Manila can cook better or at least try to make the improvement on the taste the price would not be an issue. It's too sad that there are no other option around Glendale or LA for a real authentic delicious Filipino food except in a Filipino home with good Lola Auntie or Mom's cooking.

    This location is currently remodeling but is open for business. It is the famous Max's everyone knows and loves. The remodel is a welcome sight and it gives the restaurant a new fresh, bright and open look. The menu seems to be fresher and the entrees seem lighter and more flavorful with a great presentation. Kudos to Max's for reinventing themselves.
