Octopus Japanese Restaurant

Didn't realize that they had these "small plates". Definite must try if you love them seafood items! ????

Pretty good prices. Not the best quality sushi I've had but it's comparable to the prices. The staff is pretty good and timely. I would come back.

I have been coming here for 5 years and wait staff and management is always changing. The subsequent quality of service has gone down from when I first used to come here. I came here Wednesday and it was an okay experience but there were a few reasons I cannot say more than that. I got a hot green tea with no one coming to offer a refill the entire time, no water offered, and the salmon hand roll was difficult to eat because they make it by adding a lot of chili hot sauce and not wasabi to make it spicy. We still will come here occasionally but we also know to expect less than stellar service.

Despite the wait which is normal because it's a very popular restaurant, the food is always on point as well as the service. Despite it being busy food is always fresh and not hurrily put together. A must for me whenever I'm in town. Most popular dish is the Dynamite Roll, the most untraditional roll, but this is California so anything goes right? I'm back at hotel ready to burst whilst writing this review. Good night.

This place has amazing value and great sushi. Dine in prices for rolls and pieces can't be beat. Their happy hour from 4-closing and all day on the weekends make it the place to be. Friendly service and cool ambiance. Definitely gets busy on weekend nights so expect a wait.
