Tiny portions. One kid ordered meatloaf and he got a tiny, dry sliver. Other kid got ribs and they got 3 tiny pieces. Build your own with the brisket and ribs was also paltry helpings. Tastes good but not for the price.

Im from Texas and this is good brisket. Try it with out the sauce. It's really good even with out sauce.
Do not care for any of the sides.
Too much pepper and onions in the green beans.
Too much smoky flavor on the baked beans
Coleslaw is eh
Macaroni and cheese is over cooked mushy noodles.
The cooked spinach is good but not Texan at all. Neither are the purple onions to serve with the brisket sandwich.

Ordered a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes. It came fast and it tasted great! Service is amazing. The restaurant has the old, homey feel with its wooden chairs and soft cushion. Would definitely come here again.

Great food and great location. There is free parking but it is slightly limited due to the high profile location. The food is pretty good but the ribs could use a little longer in the smoke box to render out a little better, they can be a little chewy sometimes. This is one of the only places nearby to have a Shiner bock beer. I would recommend this place to family and friends.
