Porto's Bakery and Cafe

Large selection of cakes and pastries. All very well made. The Opera, Napoleon, and the coconut pastries are my favorite. They are flaky and not cakey. Also, they hit the right amount of sweetness, which many other places seem to over-do. The quality is on par or better than some other higher prices bakeries. Come prepared to buy a lot and to wait in line. The lines do move quickly. The staff is very efficient.

This bakery is the closest thing I've ever seen to perfection. The place is sparkling clean, staff are friendly, food is great. But the real marvel to me is how this place is organized. Someone is really taking care of every little detail in the place to make it such a pleasurable experience to the customer. It's really rare to see a place like this one.

This place is great! We really enjoyed the food. We visited on a Thursday, Friday and tried again on a Saturday. Their pastries and desserts are amazing and the prices are great. The only advice I would give is to try and visit early in the week. We went Thursday and Friday. Had our first experience been on a Friday, we probably would not have returned. It's too busy, chaotic and seemed like the staff wasn't on the same page on Friday. We tried to go again Saturday and the line was just too long for us to wait. Overall, excellent food!

Traveling from San Diego to Vancouver Washington, my coworker says I know this great place. When we got there, it was Porto's!! I love Porto's! Of course I picked up potato balls to go, but, as we were there for a quick lunch, I purchased the "Cubano." An amazing choice! Incredible flavors on perfectly toasted bread! If you stop by, I highly recommend it! (Picture shows half the sandwich, as I had already eaten the other half ????).

I've been coming here on numerous occasions. This place has never failed me once!! My ONLY complaint is how busy they are, honestly speaks volumes for how amazing it is. Parking is ALWAYS difficult which, ​to be honest,​ does make me judge whether I want to go or not.

I highly recommend giving the food, dessert, ​and smoothies​ ALL a try!! ​I prefer a steak plate for my main dish with a mango smoothie​ on the side! I always take home desserts and they are all amazing!!

Side note: get several​ potatoes​ balls!! Thank you later LOL
