Always great! Old time Italian food. I've been going there for I think over 50 years! Yes, I'm that old, Jimmy is a hands on owner, staff is friendly and know about every dish.

I moved to Glendale last year from Chicago, where I grew up working in my family's Italian restaurant. Good, authentic, family owned Italian places are hard to come by in Southern California, unlike back in Chicago or New York where they can be easily stumbled upon. This is why I was really excited to try Scarantino's and as soon as I walked in I knew I found an Italian place that would make me feel back at home. The decor, the family vibe, and the food is all as authentic as expected. Everything we had was great, from the chicken parmigiana to the tartufo. I can't wait to go back and will definitely be bringing my family when they come visit!

I have been eating here for over 40 years and have never been disappointed. They serve the best minestrone soup around. The staff is very attentive, the prices are reasonable, and the serving size is just right.

Friendly service. Great Italian food. My favorite is the lasagna and garlic bread. Most meals come with soup and salad. Love the house salad dressing (garlic). Good sized portions, leaving plenty for leftovers.
