I could eat here every day. The food is just mind bogglingly good. Plus, it's run very efficiently. Good service. And those soup dumplings... my mouth is watering just thinking about them...
This restaurant was amazing. Brenda our server made some excellent recommendations and we ordered all of them. The food was fresh, tasted incredible, some of the best dumplings I have ever had and the service was top notch. Next time that we are in LA we are definitely coming back to this place.
Best I've had and I've had a lot of Dim sum. They just melt in your mouth BUT go early or you will face a big line and wait!!
Definitely worth checking out. Hope to see you there ; )
I'll be honest; I don't come here much. But there's a simple reason: Din Tai Fung is ALWAYS busy. There's no reservations and sometimes a 2-hour-plus wait.
But the food is amazing. Just amazing. It feels authentic for the origin of the cuisine, but still unique to the restaurant. It's made consistently well, every time.
Staff is a little hit or miss. They're usually pretty good, but with the volume of customers, sometimes you're left waiting a bit.
Still, a great place to check out. Just don't expect to get a table for a long while if dining after business hours or on a weekend.
Food was good. But we had to wait for one hour to be seated. We felt like everyone around us were getting seated before us even though we were there first. My daughter went to the hostess and complained sure enough they sat us. So if you're hungry I do not recommend you go because it's always busy
