EDIT: Unfortunately the food made me really sick. I noticed the pancakes had a bit of a sour taste to them but I thought it was just the buttermilk, but they ended up giving me bad stomach discomfort. I lowered the rating from 5 to 3 because this means either their food is not refrigerated or handled properly.
I know it wasn't something else because I had only had my usually morning protein shake before Flappy Jacks.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
I was really looking forward to visiting this place since we recently moved to Glendora, and I'm glad I did!
Wait time was about 40 minutes at 11am, which is pretty bad, but believe me, it was well worth it.
Service is amazing! They're always checking if you need anything and keep refilling your coffee cups constantly. Literally I didn't run out of coffee in an entire hour we spent there.
Food was really good and the plates are very generous. Price wise it's not the cheapest but also not expensive at all.
There's plenty of parking outside, so don't worry about finding street parking on most days.
All in all, a great place to enjoy a good all American breakfast.
Flappy Jacks in Glendora is an amazing breakfast joint. They have multiple locations throughout Southern California. They have a huge huge huge breakfast menu, the good thing is that if you go on the weekend you'll have a lot of time to scan they the menu since the average wait time is about 40 min.
Service is quick and right on. You'll always have hot coffee in your mug. Oh almost forgot on the table they have about 4 different kind of flavored creamers which will please everyone.
I've had the eggs Benedict all styles, pancakes, etc. I've never been disappointed.
Love this place !!! I'd give 6 stars if I could !!! They have a vast menu selection for even very early morning breakfast(opens at 6am), lunch and dinner. There's a very spacious on site parking lot but it is often filled to the gills for how popular this place is.
When you walk in you'll be greeted with the sound of nostalgic music from the 1950's, the hum of many table conversations and a friendly staff. So grab your bobby sox and your saddle shoes and sock hop into this quaint little corner of an era that's been frozen in time.
Best place for an all American breakfast. They have hands down the BEST pancakes in town! They always come out hot, the syrup is warm and the butter is fluffy!
They also have great old fashioned oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins and milk. And of course their huge portions- gigantic omelettes, I like the Santa Monica with Swiss, the pork chops with no seasoning, the tritip, the banana nut waffle... there’s so much!
Best pancakes I ever tried period.
The food it's fresh and hot when arrives at your table,
the portions are big and they have a great presentation,
the staff is professional and friendly.
The prices are fair.
The service is fast.
Great place to bring the whole family.
