    I recently moved back to L.A. and have been wanting fried fish bad. It was fairly late in the evening and I didn’t think any fish fry places were open. I just so happen to turn my head and spot R&J’s and they were open!! I made a quick U and was greeted by a gentleman. Though he was ready to close, he invited me in and was very accommodating! He made sure I was well taken care of. The food was delicious and I will definitely be a frequent customer. Thank you for your Southern Hospitality!!

    29year's experiences soul food cooking Mr Ray's perfectly seasoned crab shrimp chicken beef link Gumbo and fried golden brown Turkey took me to heaven. Then Shawn who cooked Red Snapper with smiles I enjoyed visiting this old place R&J HAWTHORNE Cal
