Chubby Rice

First time coming here and want be my last soooooo good i will be coming atleast once a week for lunch since i work in the area a must try everything cooked when you order FRESH!!!!

I really liked their food, prices are affordable and the staff is always friendly.

Since it was a rainy day, I decided to order take out and try a new place. This one is easy to see from the road IF you are going westbound. If you’re coming from the east and don’t know the landmarks in the area, you will miss it. The lady who helped me was very friendly and nice. Now, on to the food. I ordered spicy shrimp fried rice and boooooy was it spicy. Enough to burn your nose hairs off, but still delectable. I bought my husband Mongolian beef with brown rice and steamed veggies. He says it was really good and seasoned great (which is a major plus). I also ordered the cream cheese rangoons. Those were pretty good and had scallions inside. I didn’t care much for the dipping sauce which was made from Coca Cola. I would definitely try other food items in the future. We didn’t get any fortune cookies, so I’m not sure if she forgot or if they don’t offer it.

For value, taste, and wait, Chubby Rice offers a healthy platter of various meat and veggies dishes. The panel of sauces is a must, with interesting flavors like cola and Sriracha. There is a parking lot, but it can sometimes fill up.

Homey Chinese food that is not overly greasy. Lots of options of in-house sauces. Good price for portions. Friendly staff. Very easy to do pickup!
