Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine Restaurant & Bakery

I have to say Bossa Nova is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been to the Hollywood location as well as the LA location. Always a treat for me. I tried this location today as it had no wait and offered outdoor seating. Upon arriving we we seated outside (only option due to covid-19) and as the time passed it started to get cold. They had standup heaters sitting off to the side so we asked if we could have one. The waiter proceeded to state that they ran out of propane several days ago. Obviously they were aware and definitely should have been proactive in replacing the propane so when it was cold the guests could be accommodated. Unfortunately we had to take the food to go and eat in the car to preserve the freshness of the food. I live about 30 - 35 minutes away so taking it home really was not an option. The food tasted good but was hard to manuver. Eating steak in the car with plastic utensils is not easy.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a terrific evening and the venue was unquestionably one of the reasons for this happy celebration. The crew participated in a sweet way, the food was delicious and my friends were extremely overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

The food is absolutely amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful!! It was my first time but my daughter who has been there plenty of times swears everything she has ordered taste of the highest quality and is so good, leaving you craving it later! I had the Sunset which has chicken, mushrooms and asparagus in a delicious sauce blended with linguine noodles. For dessert, I had the coconut flan..... scrumptious!!!

The only Bossa Nova I have been in LA & Many times as it was never a dull experience. Diego is very warm, welcoming and has made every dining experience so much fun. I have been to the restaurant with small groups and big group with a lot of food restriction. Diego and other staff are very accommodating with the menu for most conditions like Vegan Gluten Free etc. Diego went above and beyond to modified the menu to address our allergy concerns. Apart from staff the food another reason this place is one of my favorite. Its a big menu with something for everyone. Although its such a wide variety of food, they do enough justice to the recipes and every meal has a character. Unlike other places with giant menus, Bossa Nova doesn't feel like a mass produced and catered food. The restaurant has tall chair, table as well as regular table chairs which makes it easy for big or small groups to interact with each other.
I have recommended Bossa Nova to many of my friends and family who all have enjoyed the food. I dont think you can go wrong there.
If all this is not enough, they have amazing grocery section with exotic ice creams, Brazilian & Italian delicacies.
