Putting this into perspective:
This is a smaller place with less traffic than a usual restaurant.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and a side of bacon Mac n cheese.
The pulled pork was good not to dry with a very good smokey taste. The sandwich bread didn't have spread and it was a little dry, but I'll give them credit for using a light amount of BBQ sauce.
I hate BBQ sauce because people soak their food in it and it defeats the purpose. Here they use it well.
Sandwich was $7 and it left me satisfied.
However, the bacon Mac n cheese was okay. They do have a nice spicy kick to them but they are not creamy enough. Mac n cheese needs to be thick and creamy (the cheese portion). This side is pretty small with a price tag of $3... It's hard to defend the price based on the flavor alone.
I tried my friend's fries that he ordered with his chili cheeseburger. The fries were over seasoned and tastes like Lawry's seasoning salt.
The ambience of the restaurant is modern industrial meets rustic old people. Service was good and friendly. Clearly this BBQ restaurant was designed with a bar at it's core. They have local brewed beers with a $7 price tag for 16oz a little pricey, but it is local beer...
If you are in the area, and really in the mood for BBQ then try it out. Yet, this place is not a must-have.
Good food. Nice people. Reasonable prices.
Great food and good service. I highly recommend the sliders and tri tip fries.
Ive been multiple times. Mostly with Co workers during an hour lunch break. Great food and cool little atmosphere. Get there with time or take tour lunch at an approrappro time, it's not their fault but if not, you won't get a table with time to enjoy your food (depending on your lunch time).
Sorry about the no pictures, but the food and beer are delicious! Rack of ribs with some bark and great BBQ sauce over them. Definately a hole in the wall I would recommend and give back to.
