Mr. D's Diner

This is your run of the mill diner. It's got a nice retro facade outside with the classic stainless steel that you associate with the classic diner look. The food here is fantastic. The burgers are enormous and delicious, and their breakfast offerings are what you come to expect from a diner, but with their own personal touch (eg, there's a gyro meat scramble/omelette on the menu). Some of their dishes are named after the towns in the Pomona valley which I thought was pretty cool. I recommend trying their pastrami sandwich here, it's a decent portion of food without it being too overwhelming with the salt like in other places. The staff here is also super nice and have had nothing but good experiences with the waiters and waitresses.

This through back diner experience took me by surprise. I hadn't had a minestrone soup (part of the chicken sandwich order) in a long time. Great portions.

More expensive than I anticipated, however, the big portions helped to offset the disappointment I couldn't get a sandwich or burger for $8. I guess inflation has taken hold - haha.

The chicken sandwich was tasty and included a fruit salad (of three different choices) and soup (two choices). $11.75 for that.

However, I don't recommend the egg white scramble. My partner in crime ordered that and it wasn't so delicious.

Friendly as ever service! I'd go back.

First time here. Very large outdoor patio area. Great for large groups. Lots to choose from on the menu. Big servings for a great price. Server was very nice. Definitely recommend this place if you are visiting from out of town.

So far, we are loving this place! Been here 4 times in the past month, food was good every time. We love the old 50's diner feel, the decor, and ambiance music. The food is cooked well, meat juicy, portions are generous, service is attentive.

I also liked that they are part of the Fivestars reward app, so every time u visit, u earn points towards free food.

The outdoor seating it's nice, but there's no music if u sit outside though.

My brother and his wife recommended Mr D's Diner and we were not disappointed. The prices were reasonable and the portions large. They have a very extensive menu and serve breakfast all day. I had the Asian chicken salad which was excellent and my wife had the California omelette which also was as good as they come. I would definitely recommend this place.
