Don Gus

While it may not look like the most amazing place from the outside, the food was ridiculously good! I had the jalapeno cucumber margarita and my husband and I split the molcajete and we were stuffed!

Great meal and nice, prompt service. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

They have THE BEST Mexican food, and NOT SPICY... If you want it spicy ask (about it). I had a cheese enchilada (2.95$) Al a-cart menu, 2nd from the last page, omg it FILLED ME UP.... And you don't need sour cream or anything else on it... It's too good... DON GUS has healthy food, go there!! It's next to a restaurant that says (best steaks ever?) on West Ave I, Easy to find.

Always wonderful staff is always very nice. Food is always flavorful and hot. My favorite sit down mexican restaurant.

For years we dined at a Mexican restaurant here but then the service went downhill. Next the food went downhill and we stopped dining there. Yesterday we went to Don Gus for dinner. It was delicious and the service was excellent. This is our new go to restaurant.

So we are new to town but we've already gone to Don Gus twice. We enjoy the extra touches like a small dish of refried beans (in addition to salsa) to dip right away with the tortilla chips. We like the comfy and spacious seating as well as the giant frosted goblet you get with your draft beer. Food is delicious and staff is extremely friendly. We plan to go again for sure.
