Jack's Place

Everytime I have been here the food has been great and the staff has been very friendly. My wife and kids enjoy the food here as well and sitting on the patio with the view of the mountains is pretty relaxing. Great food, great atmosphere, and the peanut butter pie is delicious!!!

???? Food: your classic American dinner with egg dishes, sandwiches and some staple comfort food.

????‍????Service: small town hospitality, which is refreshing when you're escaping the city for the weekend.

???? Atmosphere: nothing special, a little rustic but not the charming type.

???? Price: regular.

The staff there is Very friendly and Very helpful!
Food is "just ok" though, it's nothing to really write home about.
They don't have a very big selection of what you can choose from off the menu, your very limited on what you can order.
In my opinion the prices are not economical, you're paying more for food that's just not worth it.
And in some restaurants they'll say when the price is high...
"Oh well you're just paying for the atmosphere", Well there's no "atmosphere" there it's just a place to sit down and eat.
I have been there 3 different times now and I will not be going back, it's really not worth the money or the headache for that fact because you have to wait to be seated and they have seats open but yet they're not seating anybody.
The seats are not comfortable and they are limited on space.
On the three separate times that I have been there they have messed up my order every time so like they say...
"Three strikes you're out!"
And my orders are basic and simple very easy so there's no reason for them to be messed up.
In my opinion... I would not recommend this place.

Delicious food, friendly staff. Went in today for late lunch and ordered local favorite pulled pork sandwich with fries as the side (that comes free with it). The pulled pork was ridiculously tasty. Lots of meat too! And loads of fries. I gleefully hogged it ;) Washed down the delectable food with ice cold Pepsi. One lil request to the management---- Can I have a larger bun nest time please /\. This one went away rather quickly. Like I said earlier, there was enough meat. So I ate remaining Pulled pork with fries

Let's talk about the biscuits and gravy. Or the hash and eggs, or any of the food at Jack's. IT'S ALL YUMMY!!! Happened into Jack's one day on a whim, and ended up splitting a hamburger of the month with a friend. The hamburger was HUGE, that's why we split it, it was juicy, delicious, and fresh. The outdoor sitting area was the perfect place to enjoy it on a warm summers day. Trust me, if you're down on Elizabeth Lake Road for a day trip, or even live close by, it's worth stopping into Jack's Place!
