Carmelitas Restaurant

Great little stop on the Pearblossom Highway as you go through Littlerock, CA. Authentic and very reasonable prices. I've had a"wet" (covered in sauce) chicken burrito, fish tacos and the chili relleno combo. All were very good. The chili relleno was outstanding and has me craving it again! They also have delicious fresh juices and complimentary chips and salsa.

The dining area is small with a few booths and tables. Nothing fancy but they make up for it with tasty authentic cuisine. Easy parking. The service is always prompt and friendly. Next time you're going through Littlerock to get to the Poppy Reserve or perhaps going to Stateline/Vegas stop in here and get your Mexican food craving satisfied!

Love love love it ! There salsa is to die for ????

Took 12 photographers to shoot with me for a week to my location in the California outbacks, so with models and make up artists we arrived with a group of 26. Took a while to get all fed, but all were happy and the fresh guacomole was one of the best I ever had.

Sure we've seen fancier places - actually this was exactly what we had expected: a slightly run down mom and pop place with authentic mexican food. I would definitely come again.

Would I do a 30 min detour (a mandatory for five stars): Possibly. The guacomole alone was worth it. Be carefull with the king burrittos - or share it with the whole family: it's huge.

Went on a Saturday morning. It was a tab busy.

Food was brought out so fast. Every dish we ordered was very good. I left very stuffed lol

The waiter checked up on us often.

Prices were decent.

I would definitely go back again when in town.

A hidden gem in the AV! Excellent food and service! Small family restaurant with EXCEPTIONAL AUTHENTIC MEALS AT REASONABLE PRICES! Quality food and so very delicious! We will be back...finally found some EXCELLENT Mexican food AND service in the AV!
