Love this place and it's prices.

I stumbled into this place late at night (9ish) hoping for something decent considering my surrounding choices were almost zero other than fast food. I don't really know the area all that well, and after looking over the menu which was pretty extensive in a quality way, decided to try it.

The bento box was priced around $7 and came with choice of roll, main item and a salad and rice. I ordered the beef along with spicy tuna. in addition I asked for some eel (sushi). The beef was fine (not great), but the roll and the sushi were really good all things considered. The fish seemed pretty fresh. No, the spicy tuna wasn't really spicy (I'm used to eating Korean spicy tuna rolls which have more spice), but again, they were fresh and still tasted good. The eel in particular was very good.

The service was friendly. The woman (I assume she was the owner) was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean and well lit. It isn't overly decorated. No doubt because of the hour and being in the middle of the week, it was quiet (empty).

I'm rarely in Long Beach. However, I would happily come here again if I'm in the area.
