Ballast Point Brewing Long Beach

We spent the afternoon here for a wedding reception. Had great appetizers, brats, sliders & sides. Accompanying that was fine beer. I lean toward the stouts and really enjoyed Victory at Sea - hints of peanut butter, coffee and vanilla. Took a growler of it home. Location is right on the channel, so you can watch the power and sail boats come and go. The only down side might have been the area we had reserved. Upper deck with a great view of the channel . . . full sun exposure. Got a little fried after four hours . . . from the sun, not the drink.

Love it! The menu changes fairly regularly which is nice, and the brews are def unique. Only issue for guests is parking; if we didn't have a boat right there we'd be waiting considerably longer too. But still highly recommended & worth the wait!

This has to be one of the best situated breweries in the Los Angeles for sure. Ballast Point being a San Diego brewery company brings their knowledge, their style; and their beers to Long Beach/Belmont Shores. One of the larger breweries for sure. There's plenty of seating area at this location. You will have to wait if you want a table to eat at. I like coming here. Parking is free and convenient.

Awesome location for date nights or out with the boys. I don't live very close but its totally worth coming here and trying it out if you're in the area. Just recently went here for a work event and they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly.

Beautiful location especially at sunset..truly spectacular! Always love the pretzel. Greek chicken wrap was not a good as previous visits as it had pungent cheese that didn't taste like feta..more like blue cheese. Veggie burger was very tasty although last time it was cooked longer resulting in a better crispy burger taste. The place filled up! The service was great and drinks excellent. Every hour is a Happy hour there..always a fun experience. Definitely a comfortable go to hangout!
