    Best place ever to grab a schooner of beer and a Josts special sandwhich. This sandwich has type of hot dog on rye bread with yellow mustard and sauerkraut. Alongside with pretzels and a pickled egg. The crowd here is awesome down to earth prices are great large area and back with seating lots of pictures tons of history of Long Beach and its people. This is such a low key down to earth spot it's not get more real than this.

    It was my first time going there the food was awesome I tried the pickled egg for the first time I loved it nice cold root beer, it's the best

    My favorite! Started going to Joe Jost's nearly 50 years ago and still love the place.
    Today- 2 specials, egg, pretzels, peppers and schooner of beer. Can't wait for next time????

    My favorite dive bar on earth. I spent way too much time here in my formative years, but met lot’s of interesting people on both sides of the bar. Joe’s Special rates right up there with my favorite food, tacos. The beer is the coldest in California. I want my memorial service to be held here!

    Cool, little local spot. I'm from out of town, visiting a friend. Went for a walk stopped in grabbed a beer and a special. It hit too many spots!
