Queensview Steakhouse

The employees were very nice and super accommodating. The environment was classy. It was Everything you’d expect out of an upscale steak place. I was just really disappointed with how ordinary the food all seemed to be. it was good, don’t get me wrong, it just wasn’t great. I’d been a few years before and I remember the food being top notch.
I’ll go again, any place can have a off night. And maybe I was coming down with a cold.

Very solid, good steakhouse. Not great. Prices and menu say great, food says good. Had the 10oz filet. Ordered medium came medium well. Asked for horseradish sauce and it tasted like sour cream. Asparagus was pedestrian. Colleague ordered scallops that looked very good but be prepared it's not a lot of food. A third colleague ordered the burger which was awesome, but not why you'd go here to eat. Fourth colleague got the ribeye which looked thin. He said it was good. Overall it's a good meal, but there's a much better steakhouse down the street for this money. You're paying for the view, which is spectacular.

We visited the Aquarium and decided to book dinner early. Luckily we were able to get in at 5pm. The instant we walked in, the hostess was very professional, and inviting. The top of the restaurant was nicer than the bar lower level. Our server was very good, but I didn't feel he checked in quickly in between. We were there for 3 hours total.

The restaurant was lovely, live jazz music, not too crowded, and an excellent view. The food was pretty delicious - the steak and the lobster (all a la carte) with the gratin potatoes and mushrooms. We didn't receive the lobster with crab stuffing so the server decided to comp our dessert. The coffee was half decaf and regular in a french press with these very cool rock candy sticks. Overall, the experience was excellent. It was over 200 and the parking was not complimentary after 2 hours, so that was another $10. Expect to pay a pretty penny but if that is not an issue- this is the place to go.

We were celebrating our friend’s birthday Saturday night and he wanted to go somewhere elegant for dinner. The Queensview Steakhouse is an exceptionally elegant venue with impressive views of the Queen Mary, beautiful Shoreline Village, Lighthouse, and surrounding waterway.

While sipping on a glass of wine, toasting our friend, and perusing the delectable menu we finally made our selection. The appetizers came first presented in an icy tower of crystal filled with oysters, crab, and shrimp. Next, came our meal; mouthwatering Porterhouse prepared to our specifications with all the trimmings, more than enough for the four of us.

Our service was exceptional. Samuel was very knowledgeable of the menu, answering every question we threw at him. His wonderfully charming personality was evenly matched by his wit and beaming smile, qualities seemingly rare nowadays. Samuel made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the evening making our dining experience enjoyable from beginning to end.

Great dinner and great reverse happy hour menu! Great place to hang out and chill with awesome views. We eat here often because it's a short walk from our boat and it's the best spot in shoreline village.
