I stay in Long Beach a few months our of the year and always drive by this place. Decided to bite the bullet and try it out. The food and service is great, but the prices just seem a tad high given what the place is. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but if I'm paying that much, I'd expect Michelin Star quality. Recommended if you're curious and want a tasty (albeit pricey) meal and drinks. The Bloody Mary with a slider is quite the treat.
Great across the board, from menu to ambiance to staff. Portion size varies from dish to dish, but the quality is consistent throughout. The shrimp po boy is particularly tasty. It's packed all day on weekends so factor in a little waiting time.
the husband introduced me to the attic tonight.
we started with the drink of the evening 'Rye of the Storm' and Biscuits & Gravy. Both were delicious. We also had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and the Mac and Cheetos: Hey Shorty. Everything we ordered was yummy. I just wanted to keep eating.
The servers were fabulous and attentive - my water cup was never empty.
The tiny parking lot was full so we parked about 2 blocks away and enjoyed a nice quick stroll to the Attic.
Next time i want to order more biscuits and try the grits!
I ordered the salmon even though everyone insisted I order hot cheeto mac and cheese and i was not disappointed... this place has a really cool vibe to it. Young to middle aged crowd and lots of really cool drink options. I had some type of peach mimosa type drink that was amazing, and I tried several others. All of them were delicious. There is parking around the back if you need it, and the outside area had space heaters for when it gets cold. Will definitely come back if I am in the area.
First, for dinning the Attic is amazing. Food is excellent, service is great, and most importantly they've captured the neighborhood vibe. Second, we love the Attic so much we had them catering our wedding recently. Their catering service was flawless. Everyone loved the food and the options. Even more important, they made sure to take care of us :) Cannot say it enough, amazing business.
