I'm torn when I write this. The restaurant and food service is superb. Great tasting Tapas and very attentive waiters/waitresses. The bar however, oh boy. I understand that they get busy on the weekend, but there simply is no acknowledgement from the bar staff. I was waiting for a table and decided to get a drink, waited 20 minutes just for the bartender to even make eye contact, and then he proceeded to help someone who came after me. I opted to just grab a drink next door at the Harbor, since their bartenders seem to actually give a damn. Once our table was ready, the hostess was very kind and courteous, along with the wait staff and the meal overall. My suggestion is that you guys train your bar staff better at service and customer acknowledgement.
We went for Valentine's day. The food and wine were delicious. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable.
Delicious food. Didnt go to dance ..just to eat late night. Seemed real cool if you like the music.
Amazing place. Server was super helpful with the menu. She knew every detail about the food and drinks. Just delicious and great live music 6 days a week. Great date night place or just a hang out place with friends.
Cafe Sevilla, located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, specializes in tapas, paellas, and other Spanish-style cuisine. The menu is fairly extensive and the restaurant is eclectically decorated. And, just like in Spain, the service is leisurely. I was there over two hours for a simple dinner and dessert. But, the food is good. They also have live music, although the band playing when I was there, frankly, was not very good. Be sure to ask for your check when you're ready for it.
