I truly wished I could give this well known venue a higher rating than a 3 star and the 3 star is because it is a well known restaurant. The service was not the best, the food is just ok the atmosphere has a
"last resort" "I'll just get this because I'm to tired to go anywhere else" kind of feel. The Lakewood location is a lot more frequented by mall shoppers and the locals so the food seems to be better. My last wish is that they would consider actually serving real tortilla chips of some other brand than frying them themselves vs a whole corn tortilla shell, it doesn' hold the salt well and it gets cold a lot faster. That's it for this go round...

Good, simple comfort food in relaxed, family setting. I've been going to this restaurant for many years and am rarely disappointed. Portions are notably smaller than before but same great taste

This particular Mexican Restaurant has Food that you will Remember. My family and I have made it a practice to come here, when we want the Genuine Taste of Mexican Food.
When my mother was still alive, she loved eating here; so, we made it s regular location for treating mom. The portions are generous enough, that you can make yourself a full plate for enjoying later, or the following day. With the generous portions, authentic tastes, and the many happy memories, I can honestly say that this is one Restaurant where you receive true value and quality for your money. Give it a try, some time!!
