We got there at 8 a.m. on a rainy Saturday. It wasn't too busy then. We were seated quickly. Service was excellent. Food was amazing. About halfway through eating, we realized the place was packed. And there was a line out the door. We're going back tomorrow a.m. for breakfast again.
Breakfast bar is a POPULAR spot for breakfast. With that popularity comes wait times that are not always ideal. The weather was not ideal for long beach. The out of town guy expecting all sun got clouds and light rain. Anyway, they had outdoor heaters which definitely helped with the temperature defeceit. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Made good suggestions. I ordered the French toast, sausage, bacon and a side of fries (they don't serve traditional hash browns????) . Overall the food was tasty my problem was that my food wasn't hot, it wasn't even warm. But as I before stated the restaurant is popular. It's probably a longshot to expect hot food from a POPULAR breakfast spot on a Sunday morning. Not my first time eating here in a trip to long beach and it probably will not be my last.
The service was great and the food was amazing. I kept is simple with the "eggs N E way" but I ordered a side of the gravy and that just topped it all off! Totally satisfied overall
This place was pretty good, but I felt it was a little over-hyped. Food was on par with other brunch locations, and out quickly, and coffee was definitely better than what most restaurants serve. The setting is cute, but seemed pretty cookie-cutter to other brunch places I've been. Not bad if you can get in fast, but I wouldn't wait over 30 minutes for a table here.
Our company rented this place out for a Christmas party. Did you know you could do that? ...Well, it was the best decision ever. Best food. Best service. Best drinks. And they even made us this cute little sign.
