Appu's Cafe

"Appu" is title, not a name. This lunch counter is great. It is run by a doctor in this building. He there, promoting vegan cooking and is really excited and helpful. I'm not the vegan in our crew, but I am the one suggesting Appu's. Try his avocado and black bean salad, or any of his burritos or soups. Portions are good, so be careful when he enthusiastically suggests a second dish to try.

Good food but going at lunch time might not be a good idea if there is only one worker as there is a very long wait.

Great little hidden spot. Everything is fresh and flavorful.

They have great food & their doctors special burrito is amazing. However, they are never staffed appropriately & often run out of ingredients. Today I tried to order the doctors special burrito & was told it would be a two hour wait because she had to make more potatoes for it. I ordered from Village Cafe instead.

Food was really good! Note that it's a little cafe inside a clinic. There's some things they don't offer anymore and it can take some time to get the food. Owner (?) is nice.
