Hi, my name is Joe and I was at the convention center in Long Beach. I decided to go have dinner at famous Dave’s barbecue. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the professional service and the staff specially my waitress/bartender Kelley. She was awesome. I really didn’t know what to get on the menu she helped me out to get the best meal and made me the best drink ever, I will come back again very soon thanks again ❤️

Came here for lunch and the restaurant was fairly empty. Sat at the bar with my girl and we each had a large craft beer. Ordered the Burnt Ends and they were really good! Had a coupon for a free brisket sandwich which was tremendous as well. Not a bad place to get your BBQ on

The food was so good. In the mac and cheese had corn and jalapeños in it. But it wasn't spicy at all. The chicken breast was so juicy it wasn't dry at all. I think they brined the chicken. I loved it.

It’s unfortunate to have experienced a visit like this to Long Beach’s new Famous Dave’s restaurant. I have been to 2 others and my wife and I weren’t satisfied with the food.

The brisket were the bottom end, burnt tips and very very salty pieces of the meat.

The ribs were a bit pink on the outside and had some very pink inside, indicative of undercookness.

The chips, aka potatoes wedges were old and oily, dark see-through potatoes. The texture was fine but it tasted meh.

The Mac and cheese was grainy, corn was cold and some parts of it were cold not even 2 minutes after arriving.

The chicken was definitely undercooked, pink on the inside. I knew it was too juicy to be true.

    Mashed potatoes were decent.

The reason I didn’t put pictures up is because I don’t want to de-motivate anyone to come here and try it. Maybe it was our night to experience it like this(12/9/22), but it needed to be said.

Manager, please double check quality of the food often since it didn’t happen that night.

The hostess in the front was kind and the server was nice but seemed to be busy.

Extremely excited Famous Dave's made their way back to Long Beach. Got there right before 4pm and got seated fairly quickly for a party of 9. Food is still great from what I remembered. Menu has changed a slight, but we were not disappointed. Dinner plates come with a good size portion, and we were not able to finish but we had plenty to take home. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of the food, but in no way did it disappoint. I do appreciate a server that does a fantastic job! Devonta was very attentive, kept on checking up on our party, he swiftly refilled our drinks and had great starter suggestions, which we took. He is great with people and children. He definitely shows and displays great competence, which is hard to come by nowadays. The establishment was clean, and all employees were welcoming. I'm happy to have you back in the LBC.
