Came here on one of these rainy nights we’ve been having in LB the last few weeks after a long weekend 🌧️. The place has changed names more times than I can remember. I tried it once before under previous ownership, but nothing compared to the new atmosphere.

It’s definitely a revamped modern design now and has amazing food as well. Perfect location for date-night.

Tried the tom kha, salmon curry noodle, and colossal crab meat fried rice. None of these items disappointed at all! The salmon curry noodle may be a new favorite for me!

Their thai tea also comes in a nice glass with a thai tea popsickle to match. It melts into the drink as you eat your warm food, then makes for a perfect sweat desert after you finish!

I really liked this place. Very unassuming form the outside as is mentioned in other reviews but so cute inside. The papaya salad was delicious. I ate family style and the chicken and rice were good but I would love to come back and try the curry and other dishes.

Quite surprised with this location. Driving up, you'd think there is nothing special and would expect the same inside. But as soon as you walk in, you see a very modern and picturesque decor. The food was also better than expected!

    - Thai Ice tea - comes with a WHOLE popsicle as part of the coffee. Definitely a fun drink to order.
    - Colossal Crab Meat Pad Thai
    - Mango Sticky Rice

I’d definitely recommend this location and can’t wait to come back.

Best Thai Food EVER!!! Loved the staff, the owner came to the bar to welcome us and recommend her specialties. Almost didn't want to leave any evidence (or leftovers) to take home. Will be putting this restaurant in our regular rotation.

I've visited Thailand about 8-10 times in the past 5 years so I've developed a better than average palate for Thai food. I'm no expert, but I can tell the difference between the good and bad stuff now.

This is one of the few places where you can taste the care and effort that went into the dish. Unlike other places that are about high volume, Kin is more focused on the quality. The ingredients are always fresh and the food is authentic. This is a reflection of the owners' commitment to quality and authenticity. They're also from Thailand, so you know that this stuff is legit.

The inside of the restaurant has a modern vibe to it. And for solo eaters like me, it's also great that they have bar seating and my fav Thai beer, Chang.

Oh...and one more thing - they've got plenty of parking! A rarity for any restaurant in downtown Long Beach.

Check this place out - you won't be disappointed.
