My wife and I decided the perfect way to kick off our lazy Saturday was with breakfast at The Brioche Cafe. We know enough about this place to make sure that we are in no hurry to get anywhere else. As always, the service is warm and friendly. The food takes some time but that’s because it is not sitting par cooked somewhere. This is not fast food by any means, so if you’re not the patient type then skip this place. I don’t want people dragging down their stars with reviews complaining about waiting for your food. Good food takes time and it’s as simple as that. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the breakfast taco. The chorizo in the taco was very flavorful and I was happy. My Huevos as I dug into them not only had a great flavor but a nice little spice to them. My wife chose the caramelized banana French toast and my son chose his go to breakfast, the strawberry French Toast. Both were perfect as usual. I walked out of there full and happy. I know we will be back again.

To start off this review, I have to warn you not to come here if you’re in any type of hurry or if you are impatient. The food here takes time, so plan to be here and hang out for a little while. But trust me, it’s worth it.

Service: The service was good but could have been more attentive. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Food: I very much enjoyed my Meat lovers Benedict, my son loved his strawberry French toast, and my wife was happy with her Eggs Florentine. I have no doubt in my mind that we are going back. After spending so many years working in kitchens, I tend to gravitate towards the Mom and Pop type places.

P.S their salsa game is strong

Little hole in the wall in a definitely rough area. Authentic flavors, which take me back to memories of a home cooked meal. The place is half a juice Mexican bar, and the other half is the restaurant. Very attentive staff. Salsa bar is BOMB. Would definitely eat here again but not one of those experiences that I will drive out of my way to eat here.
