Great Sunday happy hour menu, including $3 PBR tall boys and fries. Great part of the Hyperion strip. Great back bar as well.
Chanced upon this place when we were hanging around Mission. Amazing beer menu, both bottles and draft. Close to a hundred beer from all across the world. I tried a Scottish dark ale that was delicious. And if their burger is anything to go by, all the food will be fantastic. Very cool pub altogether.
Decided on this spot last minute, bottomless mimosas were delicious tried 3 different flavors &food was delicious as well can't complain????
Hyperion has a really cool mid 50s style to it's interior venue. Lighting is very dim and their old school tufted booths and decor make you feel like you've traveled back in time to another era. Without the very obvious tv screens of course. It gets really busy on Sunday mornings for brunch, even on non football rainy days, which is the day I went. They were understaffed according to the waiter and they had a full house so service was quite slow. But the food was good, just keep in mind that it is a bar/pub first and foremost, so I think it for that it met expectations. The donut french toast was something else though. Just the right amount of sweetness and buttery soft. Would go back just for that.
Great beer. The blueberry wings got my attention on the menu. But in the end, it’s bar food. Just too greasy! We did have a nice birthday party. I brought the cake, candles and gifts. The atmosphere was good.
