    Santee Falafel is great for dinners that shouldn't feel dive-y or stuffy. Like, when your friends from Los Angeles are in town or when you want to hang out with new coworkers or go on a nice date. Try to book a reso if you're going for dinner because lots of other folks in the soma/fidi area have figured this out :). I like going with small groups and ordering a bunch of the apps menu like the manti, eggplant, and kale salad.

    Most generous lady in Downtown La. A good family also. Best food in Down Town La by far. Every time I go there I eat so much, I always tell her that someday I will eat so much of her food I will have a heart attack and die there right in her restaurant.

    I usually go to this place , the food is gooood , nice flavor and big portions .
    Chicken Kafka and gyros plate is a good option .

    hummus was some of the best hummus I have had at any Mediterranean food places. skewers were delicious as well. had the beef and chicken
