The chicken here is a lot better than the Louisiana fried chicken place across the street. There's currently a manager special for an 18 piece proceed at 19 dollars. The spicy chicken here isn't really spicy but it's still really good and juicy
Spicy chicken is great, just how I remember it many moons ago. As a matter of fact, everything is delicious. The only thing is 9×out of 10, service is slow. But when the food is delicious, it doesn't matter.
Best fried chicken in town. Hot,fresh, and the secret tots you can order with your chicken and fritters man. Spicy is the way to go. All I wish for is for them to get tenders, and nuggets. Man it’s over
FRIED CHICKEN.
CASH ONLY.
TO-GO.
I mostly prefer the original crispy with some of their hot sauce on the side to their spicy fried version, but I occasionally get a little spicy fried chicken, too.
All of the other things on the menu I could make as well or better -- or find elsewhere. I usually just order the chicken...and sometimes their corn fritters, too. They are quite tasty. The rolls are sometimes stale...but the chicken is always PERFECT!
Their chicken is juicy, super crispy, beautifully textured like the batter was whipped full of air, and always fried to flawless perfection....and I can't replicate that. Even the breast is damn delicious, and I'm a hardcore thigh girl. I desperately want to know how they prep it. So jealous. I would work here for a week for free to get that recipe/prep tutorial. I usually like my chicken with more complex seasoning, but they nail a simple one that doesn't overwhelm the chicken (and shines with hot sauce!)
This looks like a restaurant if you're driving by, but it's really just a large stand with a small interior vestibule for ordering through bulletproof glass. Order loudly or speak into the speakers or THEY CAN'T HEAR YOU. There is nowhere to dine in, although I have just sat in my car in the parking lot... since it's really almost impossible to get home without eating at least one piece.
