This place is amazing! All their products are gluten and dairy free which is amazing for me who stays away from those specific ingredients. They have amazing cupcakes and doughnuts which are uniquely flavored! I loved the dingdong and strawberry churro cupcakes so much! Very good prices too! I will be returning!

Vegan sister asked about this place and asked if we can stop by since it is on my route back home. Cake girl sits inside a pharmacy on the corner of 1st St and St. Louis St.

Once inside we were greeted by local folk and other patrons that have opened their own space. To the left is Cake Girl and they have a nice display of the multiple vegan pastries available.

I was able to show them pictures of what pastries my sister was interested in and they happily gave us our order in a box. My sister asked for three pastries: powdered jam filled donuts, strawberry churro cupcake, and cream filled chocolate cupcake.

Mother was with me and she asked for the sprinkle donut. I asked for the plain strawberry. I enjoyed the plain strawberry and tasted the sprinkle donut. I enjoyed the donut very much and enjoyed the two folks behind the counter.

    Thank you.

Fun and creative presentations of light, airy, and perfectly flavored cupcakes and donuts. No dairy, eggs, gluten or nuts used! This is by far my favorite part of this shop. How is Amy able to make such delicious treats? Just have one and be blown away like the rest of us!

A friend brought me here the other day to give their donuts a try. Now, I'm not a vegan and don't normally seek out vegan goodies but they highly recommended the place so I figured, why not?

Located in an old-school pharmacy Cake Girl has a cool walk up and sit bar reminiscent of the old days of a soda fountain. The owner was working the counter and had a huge smile and great energy and was helpful picking out some tasty treats.

Between my friend and I we got some cinnamon donuts and some hibiscus ones.

They were damn good. Really. Normally vegan treats never do it for me but these were really dope. With close to a decade of experience baking, the owner really knows how to make a tasty donut. This being her first physical location I hope things continue to go well for her.

If you're looking for tasty vegan donuts, cookies, and other baked goods I'd definitely check this place out. :)
