If I could give more stars, I totally would. Best burger(tripel )ever in my 40 years of life! Came with a great light citrus vinaigrette salad. Also got the clams and mussels. Yummmm. Hearty bread, clean seafood. Hands down the best thing we’ve eaten on our trip.

What I've learned during my years of solo culinary exploration was to never allow yourself to be misled by the outer appearance or surroundings of a place. Honestly, I could easily and foolishly pass right by The Tripel and that would've been a terrible mistake each time IF I did. That's a big "if", because I scouted this place out for months in advance after a little over a 2-hour drive.

Offering about a dozen local craft beers on draft in form of social lubrication and then various other bottles and cans, The Tripel chose a wise variety to cater to all customer's preferences. In terms of food, I fell victim to the Tripel Burger. An aged beef, duck confit and pork patty registered as a top 3 burger that I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. The freshness of the arugula worked perfectly with the onion brioche bun. I'm not kidding when I say that my mouth is salivating as this review is being drafted as I relive the experience, bite by bite, through my head.

The Tripel also has an unintentional test of determining whether or not you're capable of driving or if the social lubrication got the best of you. If you're able to read the wall to the right side of the bar, then you're definitely fit to drive. Clearly, that wasn't the intended purpose of the wall design, but it certainly could serve as a last minute check before exiting.

Brooke and Nick Rd 1: A+

The bartender Stephen is very helpful and friendly. Alots of crafted beers on tap.
    Small, but lots character.

Definitely worth a visit. Lovely selection of craft beers and wines. A great food menu and friendly staff. If you appreciate beer and wine in a carefully curated but no pretentious space, then this is the place for you.
