Haeundae seafood restaurant

It was alright. Probably won’t go again though.

came here for my birthday with my big group of family on a Sunday night - not too busy when we walked in. Yet, I think the restaurant was severely understaffed - we had to ask multiple times for refill of banchan or updates on our food because the wait was longer than expected. also, the table next to us seemed to have been waiting for a long while before they even got to order. though the server was nice, there was nearly not enough line staff (and I think even back staff) for the restaurant that night. the food itself was good. had the steamed and grilled clams along with eel. the eel we ordered was strangely marianated like soondae bokheum in a spicy marinade. interesting and okay, but probably not order again.

Great seafood! Best in Koreatown. They have freshest clams ,lobster,oysters best oart is you cook yours on the table. They also have live ggomjangoe which is found only here in LA. I highly recommend this place if you want to taste real Busan seafood!!

The steamed clams and Korean style sashimi (hwae) is on point! It's a bit on the pricier side, but if you come as a group, it's worth it.

The real gripe I have is about the ridiculous waits you have to endure. I stood by the door for 20 minutes waiting to be seated, even when there were 2 open booths right in front of me, and another 10 just to get my menu afterwards. They either need to hire more people or train them to be more mindful.
