Shibucho

This is the highest quality sushi in Los Angeles. Just don't expect it to be a typical restaurant experience...

Extremely good, fresh, authentic sushi place, one of the best in LA. There is no menu, so everything is omakase. We were a bit taken aback when the bill came, as it was $670 for four people. We had expected to pay about $50-$100 per person, so this was a bit shocking. Advice to customers, let them know your budget in advance. Advice to owners, not everyone that walks through the door is as wealthy as the celebrities adorning your walls, especially in this neighborhood. Since your pricing is not posted, you may want to check with customers before letting them rack up a bill this large.

We came for my birthday dinner since I've been dying to come here and wow. Amazing. The food was nothing less than amazing. Our reservation was at 9, we didn't leave until almost midnight. So worth the experience. Chef Shibucho comes out at the end of your meal and talks to you!

I used to visit here back in 1998 with my wife! Once or twice a month I came here and spent $ 200.00 on dinner! Worth every penny!
