Las Anitas

After strolling past all of the restaurants on Olvera street, we ultimately landed on Anita's because of their extensive list of vegan options - and holy smokes this place was amazing! Their soy meat is phenomenal, literally the best carne asada flavor I've had since my meat esting days. The ambiance is perfect, colorful but secluded, clean yet energetic.

They seem to be owned by the same people who run Cielito Lindo across the way, so they feature all the same menu items (including the delicious salsa verde so famously devoured by the patrons at Cielito Lindo). Vegans and carnivores alike, come check this place out!

They are focusing more on tourist entertainment than food. The place is nice, the food is ok, but Mexican food can be much better than that.

Good place to eat, or just grab some beers, when visiting Olvera St.

Good Mexican food... Soyrizo and potato burrito and it's awesome.. too many options for vegetarian.. reasonable price. Iced coffee was not that great
