Hollywood Pies

BOOOOOMB DEEP DISH, best in Los Angeles. I've tried deep dish in Chicago and it's better then some places there!

Hands down the most authentic Chicago style pizza in all of the LA region. Absolutely delicious! The sauce has a nice garlic finish to it, the tomato sauce is perfect and the crust is as good as a fresh Uno's or Lou Malnatts. I used to drive over to Burbank once or twice a year to get a pie from Taste Chicago, the place owned by the actor Joe Mategna, but now I won't be doing that. I had no idea the place was right down the street from my work, Don't know if this is a LA underground secret but too late now because I'm going to sing the praises of Hollywood Pies. Can't wait until the next NFL season because when I have the boys over I"m going to have nothing but Hollywood Pies Chicago style pizza.

Expensive but worth the money. Good ingredients and delicious. The sauce and crust are a bit simple but the cheese and pepperoni are exquisite.

I get my lunch here once or twice per week and am never disappointed. The chicken soup should be world famous, it is SO good. Salads are awesome, the pizza is great, and today I tried something new and was rewarded with the best chicken stir-fry wrap I have ever had. LOVE!!

Yummy Chicago style ???? pizza. Pretty close to authentic. The pizza sauce is tangy with a noticeable garlic. Order ahead of time if you can because it takes about 40 minutes. There is no bathroom so don't take kids or if you have kids then order to go. The parking is street parking. So it is very dependent upon time of day. No fountain drinks..only can or bottles. The place is good, and for LA very good Chicago pies. But it is not a great place for you to take kids and sit down. But try the ???? pie and make sure it stays around
