This is my place to get raw beef and Ethiopian coffee! Very cozy place and they have a nice shop

This place was such a surprise find for me and my friends! It's in a super walkable neighborhood, so I couldn't say much about the parking, but it's really easy to find and looks super noticeable from the outside.

The inside is really cozy and we were seated right away a little bit after the dinner time rush. We ordered the vegetarian combination, which I think is a must for everyone, non-vegetarians (like myself) included! It came with so much food that split between three, along with two samboosas, was more than enough food. We truthfully couldn't even finish it, even though everything was really good. My favorite were the lentils-slightly curried and very tender, but still held their shape and texture. Nothing is spicy, but I did add some chilli spice to everything and I think it made it even better, if that's possible!

Everyone who works there is also super friendly and helpful, and gave suggestions to us, as it was our first time ever trying Ethiopian food. We each ordered a glass of the honey wine, and were given the remainder of the bottle since it wasn't that much left after three glasses! Excellent and cost effective stop for dinner any night, and I'll definitely be returning!

The food here alright. I went around 10pm and was welcome by a server who seemed she couldn't care less that i was there. When i ordered the food came out in about 5 min which I didn't like.

On the flip, it is one of the better decorated Ethiopian spots I've been too.

A very fine restaurant if you like Ethiopian Cuisine! A vegetarian plate can feed 3-4 people! Very friendly staff and great customer service! Nice ambiance tucked away in the Fairfax district!

The samosas here are extremely delicious! Light and crispy and not greasy. Their tea is equally good and always ask for it. Their meat and veggie dishes are to die for, just wish it was not so pricey. But I guess good food is worth paying for. Definitely recommend!!!
