Pockets Sandwich Shops

If only they were open later. They tend to close early if its slow as well, so plan accordingly. Today I pulled in at 1:45 to see the owner putting up the closed sign.
The food is amazing, try Sam's pita. I yearn for it again.

The reason why I give this place a 3 for the reason as soon as I walked in I was greeted which was good but as soon as I was about to take my order the lady tells me to hold a min and answers the phone. She takes someone else's order over the phone instead of picking the phone up and putting them on hold that felt rude to me. I wanted sub bread and she kept wanting me to get pita bread after I told her I don't want pita bread. Got my food and the bread was a bit hard a tough to chew. The ham tasted like it was stored with fish or tuna. The chease was too thick to swallow. I wasn't very satisfied over all my first time here.

If you are looking for a great sandwich that isn't churned out like an assembly line, AND you appreciate amazingly friendly and gracious service, then this is the place to go. Avoid the chain sub shops: inside here you will be greeted warmly and treated like family. It is run by a couple, who will happily accommodate requests. They offer subs, pita sandwiches, burgers, daily fresh roasted turkey, tuna, a variety of steak sandwiches and salads. Ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. They are apparently known for their French fries here as well. Prices are good..lower than their mass production competitor next door. Seriously - very good food and delightful service ????

This is one of my favorite sandwich shops! Excellent! Their french fries are the best!
